Wonderful detail Sylvia! I too would like to know the focal length that you used.

Beautiful image Joline. I'm not having upload problems but miss some of the old helpful features - does anyone know who is collecting feedback?

Perfect for the very sad circumstances Sylvia. I prefer the first version.

Great images Peter, but following your questions, I have to say that I didn't realise initially that there were versions (I know the Versions box is now clear to me) and I don't like the fact that you cannot mouse over to see the versions. I agree the site is prettier, particularly the galleries; but again, perhaps like you, I cannot understand why the full list of voters is no longer visible - the "more voters" button bringing up a box through which I have to scroll is very tedious. There don't seem to be any image size restrictions highlighted on the upload options page. I wonder if people are uploading much larger files now affecting download times (I haven't had a problem with that though. This isn't really the place to discuss - I see there are "Contact us" and "Contact Support" buttons at the lower right of the page...

    Best regards,

Well you certainly captured an excellent "something" Jenn. The combination of strong verticals, near-silhouette, and a delightfully subtle palette works very well for me.

  • Our exchange of PMs today has caused me to look through your PF Ellie. How insightful your photography is - I must pay more attention in future.

  • Chris, you are regularly very kind in your words about my images, whilst I by comparison comment very little at present. I am humbled by the quality of your superb images - I look forward to being even more inspired by your work, and hopefully having time to tell you just what I think.

    Congratulations and thank you!
  • Hi Patti, I don't think we've met here before... I have just discovered your portfolio and really like what I see - I'll be back!

  • Sandra, I have little time to comment on individual images these days but I feel I must comment on the quality of your images wherever you choose to point your lens. In one way the votes that you receive every time you upload say it all - you are a very skilled photographer producing very high quality images. Continue your exploration of new photographic opportunities... you will continue to delight me (and I believe very many others). You may not travel far but your eye and camera see images which are very extensive in their scope!

  • There's something very good building here - keep at it Rachel and keep experimenting!

  • Dave I'm really enjoying your year of the square format. For me the format works very well in your hands, especially when combined with your excellent vision and technical skill. I look forward to many more!

    Regards, Mike
  • Robin, I've just had a wander though your portfolio and must congratulate you on the inspirational variety of images, and their very high quality. I'll be back regularly! Mike

  • Allie, I think it'sabout timeI said something about your amazing portfolio. I take great pleasure from experiencing your sensitive portrayal of the natural alongside your very clever manipulation of the natural to create inspirational near-abstract art. It is all art, created by a gifted artist!

I look forward to many, many more...
    Thank you, Mike

  • Paul, I've just been browsing your portfolio and really enjoying the variety in your photographs. You deserve more clicks that you are getting just now, but I'm sure they will come! As I look at your pf I am particularly struck by your use of strong colours to great effect!
