Acer detail

I wandered around the garden 30 minutes ago with both cameras and the hope of an image to upload. This is the most unlikely. One of my acers (grown from seed from RHS Harlow Carr) is in flower, and this is a close up of the active bits. The part we are seeing is about 8mm across.

I like the cobweb!

This is an Incredible macro--- I shall have to have a closer look at an acer --did not ever think of their flowers---
