Violet

By oldgreyheron
After the large scale of the hellebores and the mixed colours of the pulmonaria I thought I'd upload the tiniest flower I found in the garden - a self-seeded violet. This is pushing the camera a bit for dof etc but the flower at only 5mm across is delicately beautiful and richly coloured.

I welcome your comments - thank you, Mike.

Lovely colors, the leaf directly under the flower is a little distraction, but pretty otherwise
