Wet begonia

By oldgreyheron
After some more wet days, another reminder of this glorious summer! The plants can stand up well to the conditions - my bedding begonias seem to be thriving in the mild wet conditions! The flower is about 20mm across.

Thanks for looking, Mike.

It's That Macro Ixus Again! Super colour, lots of detail, and the drops to remind us of what we have just passed (at last some sun today!)

I missed nearly this...
Begonias are fascinating, the flowers are so hard and waxy, most un-flower-like in many ways. This is quite a contrast to the garden at the moment, everything looking drab and dejected. Nice shot of colour for a grey summer.
