Thanks for the comments. I think its a fly or something similar by his ear as doesn't show on any other images taken that day. However, it is annoying me now I have seen it so will take it out and add a new version.

This is indeed a lovely shot, with a great expression.
The inclusion of the slace on the right work well, and it may work better with some more space at the right and at the bottom.
The tiger can be brightened a little, and some work with a curves adjustment does this, as well as making the overall colour and tone more vibrant.
