Not just an Anemone but a Rowlands Castle Hardware store Anemone....LOL

Hope you like it, taken in natural light in the kitchen. Thanks for the great comments on the crocus.

Anyone got any hints on stopping Rooks, Crows and Jackdaws from raiding my feed stations and taking all the food in just a couple of hours, they make a right mess and leave nothing for the small birds.

Love the simple crisp, colourful simplicity of this image. Really effective.

Lovely image, I find red a difficult colour to process, but you've done this beautifully.

We have problems with Crows, but have found if we keep chasing them off with loud noises they eventually get the message and for the most part leave our feeders alone.

Love the anemone and THE REFLECTIONS ON THE VASE!

As to the birds, we have some feeders that ONLY THE SONG BIRDS CAN ACCESS-- seems the bigger birds cannot get a perch and get into where the food is---

Lovely floral presentation, Ann: we have the same problem here, but it's pigeons and magpies that clear the lot leaving nought for the smaller guys.

A lovely image - such a rich red. Big birds are greedy but have never found an answer to the problem.Sad

Beautiful shot !!!....lovely quality !!!

I use a bird-feeder similar to a squirrel-proof one (it has a wire 'cage' surrounding it) to keep the bigger
birds off it, but still allows access for the little 'uns !!....the 'cage' is about the size of a football ??.Smile

A beautiful still life image Ann, those squirrel busters are very effective for keeping the big bullies out. A couple of rooks managed to pinch one of Gary's sandwiches when we were at Slimbridge about a month or so ago when we were sitting down having lunch!
