Icelandic landscape

By ollimar71
While on the Golden Circle tour, our coach had a minor problem. The driver was busy ripping a sheet of metal off the underside of the coach, while I ran off with a huge grin on my face looking for the best view to photograph without getting lost or being left behind. This is the result. It was around 2pm on 24th Nov and the sun was getting ready to set.
Processed in Lightroom.

Thank you for looking. Smile

Hot and cold - fantastic landscape with the river leading us right through the image.

It's a golden landscape with a lovely winding river running through it. I spent winters above the arctic circle in Norway and the clarity of the air gives this special quality to the light. It appears to be this way in Iceland too.

I can imagine how pleased you were to have the opportunity to go out and photograph this.

I've never been to Iceland, but it is on my list of places to visit.
