cold ride

By om man
Taken a couple of weeks ago on the Gospel Pass up on Hay Bluff. It was cold, windy and beautiful.
We were on a cycle ride, part of it included the Pass , only another 50 miles to go .

This is a cracker of a photograph. It deserves more clicks, or maybe I am biased as I am a member of the CTC. PS...Love the hat !!

Conveys the cold feel well - would have preferred to see the cyclist's shadow and maybe a small sliver taken off the top

markulous... do you know how cold it was ...too cold to worry about shadows..;]
I could take a bit off the top and the sun is very intrusive and glaring but it was quite difficult to get any detail in the cyclists face otherwise. cheers.

it got worse ... as I was riding back to Chepstow [in the dark] I had a puncture, nearly froze to death while fixing it. Didnt get any photos of that.I dont think the batteries in the camera would have coped to well either...

Ahh, well, I leave the bike riding to my namesake! Can't think why! Smile
