Lesley I rather liked the bare patch and used it as a lead in and also I feel that it acts as a foil to the purple of the lavender.

Now this is something I'd certainly travel to see, but would have to wear a mask because I'm allergic to lavender, lol. Hard to choose a favourite, the lavender in V1 is so very attractive, and the diagonal line of the field, with lovely detail in the foreground and a sky to die for. Then there are Vs 4 and 5, and these should have a spotlight to themselves, it seems so unfair to tuck them at the end of the versions. What shapes and lines! Love the way those clouds flow down the line of trees.
