The glories of Autumn

Taken just before the rain arrived and the leaves fell. I have also added some other autumn shots taken at the Winkworth Arboreatum.

Worth viewing large if you have time.

Some excellent shots Derek. I seem to have been too busy to get to Winkworth this year. I usually make an autumn visit. Looked like I missed a good show.

like the comp in v1 and its different for an autumn image, but should have led with v2 i just adore the softness with the dark stems and those gorgeous reds. another of my shortlist. lesley

glorious colour in all the shots, the day we chose to go to Winkworth it tiddled with rain and we gave it a miss - might have to try again sometime

I have to agree with others, V2 is the star of the show, and deserves a separate airing, in my opinion.
