    Thanks for the comments everyone. I was certainly happy when I got it - it was about the 20th pic I'd taken that day and would have been happy to pack up then and go home as I knew I'd got what I wanted Smile

    There's certainly noise there, but it's no worse than any other pro camera around. This is working at the edge of what's possible with current technology so I accept some noise.
    It's not helped that this is a very dark scene - lots of dark areas where noise will show first anyway - and the lit scenes aren't that bright either so it's always gonna be more noisy than you'd normally get.

    I've not done any NR on it either - I tend not to. I'd rather have some noise and retain fine detail that get a smooth image with no detail in it.
