Normally I think these 'art installations' that seem to pop up in every town and cost a stupid amount of money are ... a stupid waste of taxpayers money ... bah humbug etc... BUT , I actually really love this one ! it fits in and doesn't just look like a bit of tat.

I have to agree I especially like the heavy linked chain which anchors the installation beautifully.
