Orthoptera found in Britain. The sprcies is mainly confined to locations in southern England. It is mainly nocturnal but can be found sunning itself on shrubs and low growing plants during the summer months. The species is omnivorous and will eat other
insects. The best way to find it is species is at
night when the males can be heard stridulating and you can home in on them. by useing a torch any movement is magnified and your quarry located.
