A MACRO SHOT OF THE HEAD OF THE HOVERFLY volucella zonaria TAKEN WITH A 50ML LENS,THREE EXTENSION TUBES AND A RING FLASH. THE INSECT WAS FIRST PLACED IN A PLASTIC BAG AND PUT IN THE FRIDGE FOR 10 MINUTES TO SLOW IT DOWN.THIS DOES NO HARM TO THE INSECT
AND IT WAS RELEASED AFTERWARDS

Super macro work, I dont blame you for chilling the insect, especially working with the 50mm macro and full set of tubes.
Focusing really does become a problem.
