Barn Owl

By P181
This was taken recently in Norfolk,my first attempt at taking shots of owls in the wild. It was impossible to get any closer and the owl stayed close to the hedgerow which was at the end of the lens range. I like the shot and thought I would share it with you. Thanks for taking the time to view.

I think this is lovely. I wonder if a tighter crop might make it more dynamic, but I personally like the blurry, sunlit background so - don't know!

Cracking shot, agree about a little crop, just to take it off centre. Stunning capture though.

This is an absolute beauty. The lighting on the bird is excellent and the colours in the background vegetation are also beautiful. A photograph to be proud of.

I echo the above comments, this is an image to be very proud of Phil. It shows the Barn Owl working hard to find its prey. Nice to see one hunting during day light hours, beautiful sight isn't it

Lovely shot, it's not all about being close up, this is a lovely image of a barn owl hunting it's territory.
