Mobile Monday and Me

Hello!
You are welcome to look through my pictures and leave comments. All pictures are my copyright.
Critique or advice are always appreciated. As is your time to write it, also.
Similarly, if you think my critique was helpful please remember to nominate it as Constructive Critique. I may not be very as well as I want to be, able to take the pictures I want, but I am happy to make others to improve theirs. Knowledge should be shared for everyone's benefit.
All the best to your photographic journey.

Mobile Monday and Me
3 Jun 2019 11:53PM Views : 653 Unique : 424Well today was the first day of the Mobile Monday task set kindly by our Critique Gallery mentor, and fellow photographer dudler.
I was thrilled to participate. It was announced last week and I had the picture for it two days later, I was so eager to upload it.
Did so early in the morning. Later I saw the rest of the entries. Some of which are more rich in the first "read", I could say better... or more complex.
I have always tried to dilute the myriad faces of reality and the tons of beauty to a strong aroma surrounded by four sides of a frame. Looked for the essence, the central idea, the concept and did my best to bring it out. I wonder if this lead to oversimplification and devaluation of my work.
For personal reasons I had the opportunity to upload images from the mobile before the competition was announced so I have to dig deeper. I am fan of film (I grew up with it) and I appreciate the lightness of the bridge camera which I have with me. But I have been taking pictures with the mobile too, since some time and some more.
As I have said in the past, what makes a photographer is not the camera but the picture they have at the end of the day. The canera is just a medium, but it is the photograph itself that shows your work.
