"Christmas Tulips"

By RonnieAG
Not one of my best for sure but I thought I'd give it an airing as it is the best of about 20 takes (the rest already consigned to trash) and the result of a wet afternoon's work.
May yet get consigned to trash though.

My thanks to all who commented on my last posting Gold at the End of Day.

Ronnie.

What on earth are you talking about.
I would say this is fantastic, with colours so deep and bright.
Love the way the light has caught the leaves at the top and back.
This has great impact to me...GrinWink

Wonderful Ronnie and I'll bet just one image.
Don't know how you achieve such perfection.
I've tried your method but always have to resort
to methods taught in Macro workshop.

Looks like you were doing the same as me yesterday, Ronnie, some indoor floral photography due to the wet weather Smile. How lovely to see tulips in bloom at Christmas. Carol

A KS special, Ronnie. The light on the foliage gives a lovely depth and the reds have some excellent shades. What is obvious though, is the care you have taken in getting such a good arrangement of the blooms, size, shape and orientation.

You are far too hard on yourself Ronnie - nine out of ten would think they had hit the jackpot if they could produce work of this standard.
Joan.

A good result for your efforts Ronnie. I also find tulips very difficult en masse - they lend themselves to images of individual blooms much more easily for me. A

I feel to enhance this super presentation further would be to not use a border just the ePz black background.

Thanks for that, Rock: in fact, I do sometimes offer a shot without any border.......this one would suit such such treatment.
