"Prof. Rontgen"

By RonnieAG
Parrot tulip Prof. Rontgen: I have tried taking this tulip by day but have never been satisfied with the result, whereas I feel that taken at night with flash after a shower, the true beauty, colours and detail are better captured, but please feel free to disagree.

My thanks to all who commented on Dumfries House.

I couldn't agree with you more. I find midday light so often burns out light parts of blooms. I use a polarizer and sometimes high speed and low ISO helps but for real control flash seems to do wonders. You sure know how to control it. TG

Just had a little read about Prof. Rontgen to remind myself about his achievements in discovery of X-Rays
and his being expelled from school for a minor misdemeanour and subsequent education and work.
I'm sure he'd be proud of your wonderful image Ronnie. Rather appropriate that your image shines in the dark too.
