2 Sep 2014 6:45PM Views : 802 Unique : 528I went over to Folkestone on Saturday , it was the start of their Triennial art event with public art placed all around the town.
The art work that caused the most news coverage was that of Berlin-based artist Michael Sailstorfer, who buried gold bars worth £10,000 in the harbour beach. Hundreds of families and people have been down to the beach with metal detectors and spades.
Else where the Art Car Boot Fair came from London to Folkestone, with people queuing for art by Tracey Emin and buying work from local and international artists.
