Lincoln Cathedral

By paganatheart
A very fine building inside and out. I chose a time when the mellow autumn light cast the features on the front of the building into relief. Only way to get the entire front in frame was to use wide angle. This has been photoshopped to make converging lines less prominent.

A magnificent cathedral.
Very well taken.
I recall squeezing tight up a corner to try to get
it all in shot once myself.

Hi Barbara, yes, the archway causes difficulty unless your lens is sufficiently wide. The alternative would be a vertical and/or horizontal panorama!
