One of the prettiest petunias I have seen and grown, and I couldn’t resist the title.
I only found out today that this one is called ‘Night Sky’, so my title is quite appropriate.
It is a recent introduction that has polka-dotted flowers.
"See a constellation in every bloom - no other Petunia plant can boast the starry speckled pattern.
White speckles against a deep purple-blue backing recreate a clear night sky."
It has won a Fleurostar award and a prestigious RHS Award of Garden Merit.
With my concentration on the stamens, the petals have blurred nicely.
Many thanks for all the views, votes and splendid comments for my silk mill spools.
Pamela.
