Lovely glow on the silk thread. It's quite lovely. The lead for me.

The alternative image is my preference, as it shows more of the working part of the mill. The silk reels have glorious colours and I like the glow from the thread. Very luxurious looking!

I like the concentration on detail in your opener and the bigger picture in the version, so it is a draw for me.

Smooth as Silk Pamela .... wonder how many worms it takes to make a silk kimono? V1 for me as well for the fascinating peek into the age old equipment back there ...

Version1 picture - not only tells a story of a visit to a Silk Mill but lets viewers see the inside of the factory and their colourful bobbins of silk thread - That image will do for me.
