Continuing my abstract series.
I uploaded a version of this in 2008, and this was taken at the same time, so I really am trawling the archives.
It was taken at the Beaulieu Motor Museum in Hampshire.
I loved the opulence of this l935 Auburn 85l, one of the quintessential recognised classics, which belonged to Marlene Dietrich.
It’s identified by an outside exhaust on the left side of the hood.
Max speed 100mph, 8 cylinders, price new $800.
Styling by the late Gordon Buehrig.
Engineering by August Duesenberg.
Grateful thanks to those of you who were interested enough in my previous Eden Project post to leave your kind votes and comments.
Pamela.
