The Window....

The Window.... by johnnyboy114

very very nice John, personaly i LOVE horses! but find difficult to photograph them (not many chances) so i hope to see a set from you soon Smile
this picture is very good i like the very sharp focus on the eye, and the title is great too Smile
I did a similar photo one time but more sideways, trying to catch the reflection in his eye, but he was not still, so no luck for me Sad

oh do you know how to ride horses?

<><> by johnnyboy114

I like this photo, even with the hair across her eye it is good because it is natural, hair is always very annoying, i always find myself eating my hair Wink

Contact by johnnyboy114

you are very good with lighting, her iris is very open, so there was not too much light on her, it is great, it makes the eyes very beautiful, I like b/w version

Warm by johnnyboy114

very glamour, my favourite is number 3 she has a very nice expression, very photogenic

<<>> by johnnyboy114

she has a more cheeky look here Smile
I like version 1 more than the others, not sure why but it just seems better to me Smile (sorry for the not so professional reason)
I bet you made many pictures that day Wink

<> by johnnyboy114

hay John, it seems yoju were wrong, the picture got many votes and comments, which is only natural as it is a wonderful portrait!
I realy like the composition, her looking just ubove the camera, not into the lens, and her hair is just great! I love the effect of the wind.
I like both but the colour version is my favourite.
do you have your own studio? if not i think it would be the right time to have one, you have become a professional studio photographer in my opinion, looking back I can see the improvements in your portraits, especialy the lighting
very well done

Sally by Alan_Coles

AWWWW sos so cute Smile was he eating the snow?

version 3 is my favourite, I realy like the grainy old look and the crop works realy well too

***** by johnnyboy114

Finally a GUY!!!! (and a cute one too) Wink haha..... finaly something for us girls to look at.
Seriously though it is nice to see some male models, i also am looking around to find someone who will model for me, to try something new
I think you have made a wonderful set here, my favourite is version 4, maybe a combination, a grainy version 4 would work for me too.
he has a very interesting face, and I love the look, he seems a character from Grease, i also think he would look great with a motorbike as a prop (Harley Davidson maybe)
I also agree that maybe if he was lookind down it would have been a little better.
Great photos, all of them Smile

Wry by johnnyboy114

another realy nice image, she has a happier look here, good thing you left the dimple, it makes her real!
She is very beautiful, is she a model ?
I don't know anything about lighting but i think you have done a great job with it, very well done

Intensity 2

Intensity 2 by johnnyboy114

John, WOW this is much more intence than the first one, i think it is your best, both versions are great but i prefer the warm version (maybe because it is already cold outside) Wink
seriously i like that you did little processing, she looks beautiful and natural, her intence look frightens me a little she has a veiled smile, a little sinister like from a horror movie, reminds me of Stephen King's Carrie just before she is about to burn someone. hehehe....

Intensity by johnnyboy114

Intensity is a perfect title for this photo.
this is realy well well done, the light is perfect and the shadow on her right is also just perfect, as others here said I also am no expert on portrait critique, but i can see this in a magazine, maybe a perfume add or cosmetic add.
if this is the kind of photographs you would like to do in future, i think you have started very very well
