Boxed in

By paola1987
Sometimes I feel like I'm living in a box, afraid to get out, not that its a bad place to be, I like it in my box, i have a nice life here, a good job, an appartment and many friends, but sometimes i wish i had the courage to just get out and change my life, make it less boring, it's been the same for such a long time that i think about changing my job going to another city, just live differently for a while, not sure if i make sense, but i just don't have the courage right now, i hope i will in the future

V1 for me better Crop although the lighting on V2 is very good.

You live in Rome, its possibly the most beautiful city in the world, how can you get bored there?

I'm not bored of the city itself Karl, just of the same routine every day.
oh Rome is a beautiful city, but not so much fun to live in, believe me, when you are stuck in traffic or are waiting for a bus for more than an hour, somehow you don't seem to appreciate the sights, you just wish you were somewhere else

Again very expressive & imaginative. Agree with the comment above go out and do some street photography your view of it would be interesting as you always seem to have a different approach to most things. Go for it girl! Geoff

A fantastic idea to convey a feeling and thoughts......Rome is indeed beautiful, but if its all you know and you have the same routine every day, then I can completely see your point of view. I was overawed by Rome, spectacular. But I live in Cambridge in England and many people say the same of that city when they come to visit, yet I feel very much like yourself about Cambridge as you feel about Rome...I am happy there, I like the city, but the day to day life can get you down and the urge to break free every now and then rears its ugly head......your thoughts and feelings are very much clear from this image and its a fantastic idea....very well shot, but V1 definitely puts the thoughts across better I feel. Not a technical shot by any means, but to put feelings across, there are few shots better....

So many feel the same inside. Few have the courage actually speak of it much less act. At least part of your free spirit gain freedom in the form of the wonderful images you put here.

thankyou everyone, I guess we all get a little bored in our cities sometimes.
I will take the advice and try some street photography, it will feel strange but maybe fun, thanks again Smile
