Boy With Frog - Punta della Dogana, Venice

By paolodefaveri
"Boy with frog" is a sculpture in white steel of the LA based artist Charles Ray. It's prominently situated on the very tip of the Punta della Dogana, exactly where the Grand Canal, the Giudecca Canal and the San Marco basin converge, and it was placed here at the beginning of June for the opening of the new exhibition center at the Dogana.

I took this picture at dawn at the beginning of December. It had been rainy all the day and the night before, but the sky finally broke just in time for putting on stage one of the best sunrises I have ever witnessed.

Your C&C are as always highly appreciated, thanks in advance for your time. Details: Eos 50D, TOkina ATX-Pro 12-24 f4, GND 4x, tripod. 0.4" @f16.
