Golden Dawn

By pamelajean
Firstly, a big thankyou to Carol (Caziwinkles) for favouring my "Agapanthus Sculpture" with her User Award.

I am still staying with the Sir Harold Hillier Gardens "Art In The Garden" Exhibition, and in particular the flowers sculptures.
This one is titled "Golden Dawn" by Ian Marlow ARBS, is crafted in stainless steel and glass, and could be yours for a mere 2,730.
3 versions. I usually start with a closeup and move you through to the complete sculpture (as long as I remember to take a picture of the whole thing, I get so engrossed in the details sometimes). So I am betting you will prefer V3, but I do like the idea of having closeups featured in my portfolio, and I think this is the main reason why I generally lead with themGrin.
I cleared a lot of the background debris in order to enhance the outlines of the leaves.
Pamela.

I do like V3 because it puts V1 in perspective - but I agree that V1 is great !! Beautiful !!

My best would be V2 I favor the composition with the amber thingies taking my eye and holdingmyt view as the impact point, not as all are not good, I hasten to add. But for me with out doubt V2 takes center stage...John

Very cleverly crafted, Pamela, and very well captured, but it doesn't appeal to me, I still hanker after the dragonfly Wink Carol

My preference is V2 probably because it is some where inbetween, although I think it is the composition, close enough but with contrasting foliage. Having said that, I do like the way the light reflects through the amber bulbs in V1, so maybe I just like them all.
