Wonderful clarity against the black, Pamela. v2 is easier to see their shapes. I thought 'I can do that' until I realised my bike cogs are covered in oil, grease, muck, etc..... TongueGrinGrin

interesting pieces of work so well captured, i like the framing with the leaves in v1 but also like the slight sinister look from the owls in v2, nice work.

More detail of the structuring shows off better in V 3 but personally I prefer V 1 where the owls are set against the black b/g: both captured in very dine detail.
Very original price of art work.

Its funny isn't it - how can I be thinking "ah" when they are just metal - but they do have that cute look about them - v1 is my favourite SmileSmile

Not sure either as I love both images. I so envy you getting to see these wonderful sculptures in reality! Probably as well I can't be there though as I am certain I'd be so tempted!

That is a difficult decision, Pamela. In V2 they appear about to take off, more so than in V1. Very sweet in either case. I'm afraid I shall just have to sit on the fence Wink

Wonderful sculptures and captured superbly. The bg is really effective more so in V1 along with the branch framing. V2 does give us a good view of the detail/shape, but the composition of V1 for me.

V2, Pamela. The full face on image is more engaging. The contrast between the silver metal and the rusty perch is brilliant.
Wonder if that effect was planned by the sculptor?

I definitely prefer V1. They look cuter and you get a better sense of them 'cos they're more isolated from the leaves.

195 quid! Print out V1 and frame it. You could have the owls in your home for a fraction of the price Wink And your captures are definitely worth framing.

These are exquisite, the composition is just as good, simple but very effective with that hint of green.

I don't want to choose between them! They are both adorable and I want them! I would love to have these in the garden. V1 is wonderful for the diagonal compo, but v2 is precious with them looking towards us Smile
