Time Passes

By Paree
Buddha says;
Man says time passes, time says man passes.
I have always been fascinated with time, I think that the past the present and the future,
are all happening now, its just that we are unable at this moment in time to pass over into other,
dimensions, in the far future I think this will be possible.
Time is so strange, why does it sometimes go so quickly and other times go so slowly, when
it is the same time span.

I started my picture with a photo of an image of my clock taken looking through a paper weight,
I added other pictures of some of my collection of clocks, I then added a blue Tardis, (not in my house)
and the lady at the bottom is a prisoner of time, as we all are.
Hope you find time to enjoy my picture
maureen

Very well composed Maureen. Love the colours and the dreamlike quality to this image. Colours attract the attention and the detail retains it. Dave.

What I love about this shot (and all your work) is that you take full advantage of the power of PS but with such taste and creativity. This is a wonderful creation. I'm glad you took the time. -=Walter

The work that has gone into this is amazing, not only that, but the flow of the meaning, superb. I read on a gravestone, a while back.
I was ruled by the clock, but not anymore. Stuck with me for some reason.

Another superb manipulation Maureen. A great 'time image'and yes I agree we are all prisoners of it. I like the clocks reminded me a little of Dali's soft clocks paintings. Time is definitely one of lifes great uncertainties and you have dispayed that well.

Man,man,your time is sand,
Your ways are leaves upon the sea.

Lyrics. Al Stewart- Past, Present and Future album.

time passes through pain, revolutions.. the much you see, the much you suffer, the much you live.. a bitter reality.
