I have added a mod. This is a lovely sharp image with nice warm tones of colour. It really only needs some simple changes and I hope this explanation will help. Firstly I cropped the image to bring the donkey to the front of the picture as I considered this to be the main focus of the image. Then I added some contrast via curves to bring out some detail. I felt the sun was quite burned out so taking the focus away from the donkey. By cloning this out it keeps the lovely warm colours and simplifies the image. Finally I did a bit of dodging on the donkey to highlight some of his features. I think I should probably have brightened the image overall but sorry, I missed this and only realised after I had uploaded the mod.

Morning Lee,
I downloaded your image for a mod and I had no problems opening it in ACR (Abode Camera Raw) where I made a few adjustments. If the are using elements etc go to "File" > "Open As" then in the box at the bottom "Camera Raw" it may just work, let me know. Anyway, I adjusted to tones slightly to boost the sky a fraction and darlem the donkey.
Take care
Martin

Thanks for the Mod janeez, it has improved the image no end, I was concerned about the sun washing out and taking too much focus away from the rest of the picture.
I was really surprised at how the photo came out as it was taken on a Sony Bloggie 3d with small fixed lens point and shoot camera, I am annoyed I didnt duplicate the shot on my a55 as i did with so many pictures on this holiday.
