Real journalisum, this! I know a little of this type of thing and it is very tough on the individuals. I saw a white South African couple that faced their robber & killer of their son, on a one to one like this, to try forgive and forget the crime. The robber was the one who was visably agitated during the whole process. Strong stuff...
