Eleonora's Falcon

By Patricia Fenn
It's wonderful to watch Eleonora's Falcon hunt. They seem to feed mostly on emperor dragonflies through spring but in June they go crazy for **** chafer beetles at sunset, catching them in their claws.

Any crit welcome,
thanks for looking, Patricia.

Thanks all!

Just want to say that I'm on my 10th day of giving up smoking after about 45 years on the weed, so I'm feeling entirely murderous and completely nasty. Sorry for not jumping to all your great PFs... I will, asap, but need to get to grips with myself for another few days.

Best wishes to all of you, and thank you so much once again.

Lovely shot and great timing. I'm hoping to see (and ideally photograph) this bird when I got to Morocco in April.
