I stared at this for nearly 10 minutes, I'm really unsure about why I like it, I just do. Brilliant title and I like the position of the model, expresseds depression well. What effect have you added to the right side of the shot though, looks slightly strange?
Great work though, well done!

Really like the composition of this shot. We can see the space he is looking into, which I feel helps. The movement is a little distracting at first. I thought it was a reflection initially. If you had captured more people walking on by or if we could have seen more of the person in red walking on by this may have added to the effective of him being alone. Just my thoughts. Nice candid, good luck with the project Wink

The grittiness of the shot appeals overall. The pose of the character, the graffitti on the walls, and even the plastic bag gives a sense of emptiness. I think if the bloke looked a bit scruffier it would add to the shot, although him not doing doesn't take anything away.

Great feel to this shot - really sums up the title of Depression. What did they think at school?

Hi Patrick,
This caught my attention straight away. I felt a sadness looking at it. I dont know why as I'm the eternal optomist, never get depressed. Well done on bringing an emotion to the fore I never experience.
Its fabulous. The shot not the emotion lol.
