Series: Lifes Journey: Photo 1

For school i have to do a major series of photos. These are shots that may be going into it.

The idea is to take a number of people of different age groups, displaying of different generations faces and the changes they go through in life (if i confused anyone don't worry!)

I really do need the feedback on any ideas or something i could improve on.

The reason for all the black is to get people to look only at the face expressions. The red on the jumper will not be there on the final

Nice portrait, great detail in the face. For me the transition from light to shadow is a little harsh, but that's just my opinion!

Yeah you right Nik! I don't have the best lighting for these types of shots (bed lamp), so if anyone can give me some pointers on what lighting i should use it would be much appreciated!!!

There is a case for there being just a shade more light on the right and this kind of lighting suits B&W very well...but very good work.
