Sounds like you might be from Morningside in Edinburgh, Patrick they drink tea with the pinkie pointing straight out, a terrible affliction or affectation which ever way you look at it.
Your image of the bridge is very interesting with the fog apparently traveling along the bridge structure while the moon shines high above.
Your work as ever is very interesting to view.
All the very best

Thanks for looking!
I hope so too Ed.
Anne, it is genetic and both my parents have it so that makes it 10x worse! Here is more information.

Thanks for looking in and for the 2008 wishes too!
It will be Janet I hope, but both mine have it.
Yes Ian, it is common amongst a small group but is still considered rare in the world.
Thanks Martin, the conditions were changing so rapidly that I tried to get a pano but each shot lasted too long and things were too different from shot to shot to produce a decent join!

First things first.......Good to see you back.....And hoping your sore lil' pinky is on the mend soon....It was referred to on your 'Asilomar Surf', in case you missed it.....LOL!
More ooooh's and ahhhhh's from the east coast on this lovely image, P....
This one should have made the 'Grand EC" Award by now, don't ya think??
Or at least the "POTW".....??
What's up with that?!
Well, how about the highly acclaimed 'Megamuff Award'???
LOL!
Oh well, I'll give it a couple of days, surely you'll get something.....
Cheers and Be careful of those Stanford Studies, your Mug may show up in a medical book...
Have a good night,
Suz x
PS: You do know what they say about men with the cursed bent pinky syndrome, right???!!!
Well, I'll leave that be for now....LOL!
PSS: Thanks for checking out my Baby shot.....

Got to pick up Douglas on his suggestions about Morningside as it is a well known fact visitors to that area of Scotland will be greeted by the traditional salutation of, " You''ll have had your tea".....so I don't think anyone from the outside world has actually seen how they drink it!
Great image by the way.

Thanks for your comments!
I can only type with one hand for this coming week while it heals but I'll catch up after that.
Thanks for the Megzie award Suzan! I'll have to think of one myself. Maybe for seascapes.
And thanks Nick (warney) for your award too!
Yes Terry it is the overexposure that does the trick! In the full version you can see the crescent but even the dark side is overexposed here so it looks full.

Hmmmmm, I thought your Kodak Instamatic Camera only required 1 hand to use????
This is what you need to do:
Get one of those flash cubes you've got lying around the Smith Mansion and snap it on good and tight, then grab a roll of 120 film, move the old bed pan out of the way, give your nursemaid the day off or maybe have her go to the grocery and pick up a large bottle of geritol that you may have run out of by now.....LOL!
Then.....Start snapping some pics...
Hope you're up and about soon, we sure do miss your Kodak Moments...
PS: It's Snowing here.....
Cheerios,
Suz

I am in a study at nearby Stanford University for an injection to cure my little finger (er um... 'pinky' according to Koen!), which is getting bent by a disease related to my ancestors being from Scotland!
Its known as being tight fisted, If a scotsman dropped a pound coin it would hit him on the back of the head.
