Rustic Bath

Very nice shot, a throw back to the beautiful Pictorialist work of the early 20th Century...

Cheers Nathan, I have put together a story board but think each individual image may be a bit small on here... Smile

Sofa bikini portrait by dudler

Sofa bikini portrait

A cool idea. I agree the angle of view is a little distorted. For me the eyes are a dead and the curve of the sofa in the background is a little distracting...

Wet Wet Wet

V1 for me, the subtlety of the image is far more appealing than the heavy vignetted versions. Lovely tones...

Beauty spot by Mrserenesunrise

Beauty spot

A nicely lit image that is very eye catching.

I find the shoulder a bit intrusive, it makes the image uncomfortable to look at. I like the beauty spot on her face, but think you could have removed the one on her shoulder, once I noticed it I couldn't stop it from catching my eye..

Eggs I by Paul_Anthony

Hi Dowie, I did try a texture, it didn't work for me, I kinda preferred the simplicity of this way... Smile

Thank you.

The end of the Pier by derekhansen

The end of the Pier

Love the central composition.

I like it, nice idea, I like the way the trees get lighter as you look into the distance due to the mist. The strong verticals make for pleasant viewing too. Have you got any looking down the pathway that looks to be just off to the left?

I think I would like to see the bottom of the tree closest to us, it makes it a little uncomfortable to view having it chopped off. There is a colour cast to the image too that could do with correcting.

Clarence Dock

Really like this, great reflections and cool architecture, well seen and taken.

I am sure that it is not, but I feel like the image is leaning to the right when I look at it, probably just an optical illusion though..

Hi J.

Believe it or not, they are lit with two desk lamps with snoots made out of cardboard boxes. I set the backlight up first as the main light and then add the fill afterwards..

Frosty Oak by piperpics

Frosty Oak

Love the cool colours and composition of this, you low angle works well and the depth of field is nice. I think either a crop to exclude the highlight reflected in the water (?) or cloning it out would make this an even better shot.

Fall Wedding Shoot by Harlan

Fall Wedding Shoot

Looks like a great place for photography and I like their relaxed pose. The nice even lighting has given you a nice exposure on their faces.

For me, your framing is just a little too tight, the bride and grooms feet are cut off at the bottom of the frame. And the highlights on the brides dress look a little blown out.

Talacre Lighthouse by Istretch

Talacre Lighthouse

Looks like a great place for photography and you have captured the drama of the place well. I like the composition of the photograph too, the lighthouse is well place and the horizon is just in the right place.

I feel it would be an even stronger image if the horizon was straight, this would have also straightened up the lighthouse too which is leaning to the left a bit. There is also a noticeable haze or halo around the edges of the lighthouse, possibly caused by something you have done during the processing.

A lovely write up too.

In The Pink by Buffalo_Tom

In The Pink

Very nice seascape. It works really well as a portrait image and the clouds are lovely. It works even better for me with a crop just above the first gathering of clouds. Still a really striking image though.

R.o.T by Paul_Anthony

Thank you for taking the time to comment, not many do. Not sure that I agree with you entirely, but then I suppose wouldn't.

I feel that the image holds very well together and the balance of the image is fine. The bride and groom always want a nice shot of the car, and the photograph was set up to show the car off, it's a stunning car.

Heather, Beeley Moor by james13utler

Heather, Beeley Moor

Gorgeous colours, texture and pin sharp detail.

When i scroll down the screen a dramatic crop losing almost all of the sky makes this a much more pleasing photograph to look at. About an inch above the horizon works perfectly for me.

A great spot for photography and very well taken and exposed.
