Another dose of "lone tree syndrome" from Rannoch Moor.

I tried to get something a bit different by using a longer focal length to compress the tree and the mountain.

Seems like there is quite a bit of snow up there. When do they close the road up there?

What a great idea to use the longer lens - that should teach us to try some other lenses as well instead of just keeping the 10-20 lens on!

Jacqueline, the snow gates get closed when the snow is heavy and drifting so much that the gritters cannot clear the road.

It was snowing up there today but has now turned to rain and flooding is a big problem.
