Bamburgh Castle

By paularthur
A morning on the rocks at Bamburgh didn't reveal much to me, but as I was walking back to the car the light changed and cast a beautiful silky light which picked out the lines in the sand. Out came the Lee 0.9 ND Grad, a little underexposure to keep the colours in the sky and this was the result.

I love the texture in the sand here - a shame I can't post this huge, because it makes all the difference.

Great image. Having a plain, but no less interesting foreground, has given it a different feel to what we often see from this part of the world. Great sky and silhouette also.
