    Thanks once again for constructive criticism.
    No John , I didn't misunderstand the ref to reverse "S" curve. I just thought I would flip the mill to the other "third" and see how it looked. I think I like it that way round. Now it is pointed out perhaps the soil is a shade darker than it needs to be I can't remember to what degree it was sharpened, but I did boost the contrast to try and emphasise the sky.

    Beautiful rendition of Bryce. I was there just as the evening light touched it, and the light seemed almost to becoming from within the rocks. Your shot brings back the awe of being there.

    Dudler and Willie,
    thanks for the helpful advice, I will have to watch the saturation levels in favour of the tones.
    As you said Dudler I have been at it for a few years now, and felt I was getting a bit careless and in need of sharpening myself up! Hence the move toward more critical analysis.
