All the right gear...

By paulbroad
A collection of gear! Yet another from Autosport. A bit different this time. A selection of gears and shafts in a cabinet. Tried to get an angle with little flare and the best content. Lighting by spot so left on auto WB and the colour cooled a bit in Photoshop. Some sharpening and quite a bit of work with the dodging and burning in tools.

ISO400, EOS7D with 18/125 Sigma OS with OS on. Metered by Sekonic hand meter in several places and exposure set at 1/60 @ f8.

Would make a good mono I suppose. Almost mono already. Product image really, and shot for two reasons. To see how well I could handle the fact that these were in a perspex cabinet, and experience has shown me that this type of shot sells in the libraries far better than, for example, an excellent landscape.

Very Nice! Also think the bit of color adds a great deal to this excellent image.
