TVR

Another from Autosport. Have had to do a bit of cloning here to get rid of one or two bits - like part of a plastic chair! Made use of the stand lighting as far as possible with a burst of flash fill. Difficult to get good car pictures due to design of stands and other visitors.

What a super car. I have a sports car, an MX5 Sport Cabriolet, a nice little car and in super condition - my son sees to that - but not as good as this!

EOS 7D with 18/125 OS Sigma at 18mm Sigma 530 DG super flash. Monopod. About 1/60 @ f5.6 and ISO400.

Indeed strong and vivid colours. Its always a problem at these shows keeping out unwanted furniture and bodies, I think you have handled it well, now the orange car would have been a real pain.
Don't put your Mx-5 down, I have owned two over the past 11 years, believe me the Mx-5 will complete more journeys than the TVR Wink and the grin on your face will be wider.

I know about the MX-5 - probably the best small roadster ever built - and thanks for the confirmation. Mine belonged to the brother in law from new and I bought it from him last year with only 21K on the clock - 05 Plate. Very nice to drive but no luggage space! The Sport has heated leather seats, uprated suspension and 143 bhp along with a few other bits and pieces. I think rather nicer than the new version.

Will test out the photography side of the car when the weather gets better and submit some. Am developing a method for shooting cars as a lot of my son's clients want there cars photographing as statics and moving and there is a business opportunity for us. More later. My son has fully valetted mine, treated the leather and hood and brought the whole car back to showroom condition. New wheels on the way - Mazda have a bit of a reputation for corroding alloys.

So, more photography on the subject to submit in the spring.
