Love the patterns. What kind of lens did you use, as the focusing is weird. Intriguing, but weird.

Hi Steven, I used a sigma 10-20. In processing I added a false tilt/shift effect. Paul

Love the light and shadows, and the way the shadow lines follow the gallery. Is this inside GUM? I remember being given 30 minutes to 'do' Red Square back in Soviet days, when you didn't argue with the guide, and rather than try to rush through St B's or Lenin's mausoleum I just wandered through GUM. It was in the days of empty shops and I more or less had the place to myself.

Thanks Sandy. Yes Moira, its the Gum. The place is huge as you know and full of very exclusive shops. Lots of money in Moscow..

LOL, in 1989 and 1990 when I was there it was dusty bare wood counters with a scattering of aprons and yard-brushes!

I like the perspective to start with, but the shadows are incredible. The tilt and shift works well here.

Thank you Pamela, appreciate it. Paul

not keen on the tilt shift effect here at all - juswt find it a bit confusing

how about trying a vertical effect with the sharp bit down the centre, that may work?
