nice photo, the boats are placed nicely within the composition leading to the windmill it works very well. the sky seems a bit lifeless maybe shooting the same seen when their are clouds or at a different time of day eg dawn etc might give more atmosphere to the photo and bring it out of the flatness its in, and maybe help diminish the effect of the weed things on the water.

Nice composition but i think the main body of the picture is in a soft focus with the bottom of the pic sharp. With nothing much to look at in the sharp area I don't think it works very well.
I would Try it with the focus on the boats or windmill
