Needs a bit more lift in contrast

Would agree about the contrast but it doesn't need a lot. Would suggest that a thin black border around it would help as the picture tends to bleed into the surrounding area. Strange way of storing the boats.

Seems this shot was taken around mid-day hence the lack of contrast. I can see what you are trying to acheive with the composition, which is right. So instead of taking shots and combining pubs at lunchtime Pauline!!!!!!!, you need to get shooting this scene at dawn or around sunset , the colours will be more saturated too. Happy shooting, keep on going. A border as suggested will be nice for this shot. Click for effort. Hope you do not mind me adding my two p worth here.
