Something a little different. The original was just a regular picture of this awesome coaster. I wanted to give it a bit more and make it more dawnting in a way. I like the outcome but any hints and comments are always helpful. I'll upload the original to the mod section so you compare.

If you like Oblivion at Alton Towers then this is a must! Twice the height and this shot shows the smaller of the drops.

Cool shot. Could see this in one of their brochures! My only suggestion would be to try and cut down the white kinda glow around the edges, of you get what I mean. It's a personal taste thing though, so others may not agree!

Having looked at the original, I really like both shots. One looks really natrual, the other looks obviously manipulated, but in an advertising kinda style...

Great job either way!

I know what you mean Tim. Trying the get the sellection into all the branches of the trees was proving very hard so I resorted to the burn tool. If anyone knows of a way to better select sky that has trees in please do let me know.

Thanks luke, had a great time thanks mate. Catch up with you soon.

I do love the effect you made here ... shows the ride more dramatically ... as for selecting the sky with tress ... have you tried the magic wand selector ... with patience u just keep selecting the areas u want to change and you should eliminate the white glow! worth a try! love the pic .... I used the Magic wand tool here and the lasso tool aswell. With so many pixels from todays cameras it is hard to get every single one selected I think. I didn't spend to long on this, and I'm sure I could have got rid of the edges if I'd spent longer doing the selection.

Thanks for the advice Smile
