I have mixed feelings. the content is excellent and well done, the tones look rather flat and pastel? I would expect colours on a natural history shot to be a bit more lively.

Point taken PaulBroad. What you say is correct about it being "flat and pastel" and it tends to be what you get when shooting at ISO 2000 and shutter speed at 1/3200 and then converting to sRGB for the web version. I could have, (perhaps should have?) added more vibrance to the JPEG version. Best wishes, Paul Knight.
