Not that it's worth much, but you can have my Soul Paul. This is the texture of water I had in my head when I viewed 'Light of Hope'. The inclusion of the cloud really adds to the WOW factor of this image.

Paul, many apologies, since despite the fact that you were not looking for awards, you've got 'em and you definitely deserve 'em!!!!!!

Not looking for awards....well you have lots and all well deserved...a great shot
I agree that it's good to go back to old pics as yes our skills do get better with time as we learn more about processing...

We've seen the Buachaille hundreds of times but this is so different and very beautiful.
Not only do we improve our processing skills but we see something not seen before as we develop
our composition skills too.
An absolute winner Paul.

A fine shot Paul.
I have been on this site for eight years.
I had a look back recently on some of my early uploads.
I was actually horrified to see how oversaturated and oversharpened many of them were !!

Cracking image! Fantastic detail in the rocks and foliage and the dreamy water create a wonderful image. Not to mention the almost volcano looking peak behind. Its almost like a snapshot back in time.

100% agree with you on re-processing old RAW files, skills develop so much over time and its a shame not to let the old pictures get the new treatment and the benefit of every that you have learned.
