gamekeepers stand

Probably makes an uninspiring thumbnail in the gallery so if you have got this far then thanks for your interest.

Dawn breaks over Oakworth Moor above the Grouse Inn, Bronte Country.

When setting up for this shot i was concerned about about the lack of interest in the sky but on reflection i think the delicate subtle pinks contrast well the heather moorland which can be quite textured and detailed, and give a place for the eye to rest.
Im trying not to travel too far and explore the landscape within 10-20mins of home (might help reduce my carbon footprint), compositions can be quite hard to find sometimes, but i,m quite happy with this one the line of trees and foreground wall top leading your eye to the distance white house the far left isolated tree seems to balance the composition.
Couple of lee hard grads either 2+1 stops or 3+1 stops not sure which i used on this one plus a gray card as a makeshift hood.
