Brograve Remains

By PaulThetfordPhotography
The remains of Brograve level drainage mill at Waxham on the Norfolk Broads.
Built in 1771 and now a grade11 listed building.
I was hoping for a better display of colour behind the mill but the cloud cover
was very dense as the sun went down.

Thanks for the clicks and comments on the last picture.

Regards Paul.

Like the semi-shillouetted windmill. Lovely low light image.

I like the strong lines of the mill against the moody sky and the contrast between that and the ribbon of light of the water. A lovely atmospheric image.

A bit late in commenting on this - I love this windmill which is very near my sister-in-law's house. I took it earlier this year and didn't make a very good job of it, so converted it to mono. I think I took it from this very place which is obviously 'the spot'! I hope to get back there some time.
