I can't get what I want to with my Compact camera,this is the best I could do,getting frustrated.

Stay cool, this is a very high standard for a compact. These creatures are not easy to record so when you get your DSLR you are obviously just a click away from some great pictures.

Well taken. This is not my area, but IMHO it is excellent. The only suggestion I have is to clone out the leaf at the bottom as it distracts you. click John

Pauline, can identify with your frustration, I was in same boat too but now lucky enough to have an EOS300. But this is a fantastic photo for a compact, well done.
